Your safety is our top priority. We take time to listen to your history and concerns, and complete a series of orthopedic, neurologic and palpatory diagnostic testing based on your symptoms. Your exam may also include x-ray imaging to obtain a more complete picture of your spine. Thorough examination enables us to best treat your needs and maximize your time in the office.
Symptoms are Treated in a Series of Phases
Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our clinic, our first objective is to help you reduce pain/symptoms and to start feeling better as soon as possible.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
During the corrective phase of chiropractic care, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, which helps prevent further injury or pain. The goal of corrective or restorative chiropractic care is to help bring your body back to 100% functioning. Our goal is to work on strengthening and rehabilitation in this phase, which is one of the most crucial steps to feeling your best!
Phase 3: Supportive/Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, and you are no longer experiencing back pain or other pain symptoms, it is important to come in for periodic chiropractic adjustments to avoid further problems in the future. Usually, this phase of chiropractic care only requires a quick monthly visit to the chiropractor.
The prescribed treatment and duration is tailored to each individual, and all options will be reviewed and evaluated during examination. Your treatment may not follow the standard set of phases as described above.
We are here to meet your medical needs, and we hope that you feel heard in our office. Therefore, we can come to a mutual understanding of your treatment goals and preferences, while making you feel comfortable throughout the treatment process.
